Day 1

Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and transfer to Phuentsholling/Jaigaon, which is 170 kilometres and 6 hours’ drive from Siliguri. Phuentsholling is in the India and Bhutan border; The Indian side is called Jaigaon and the Bhutanese side is called Phuentsholling. Indian Nationals do not require visa or passport to visit rest of Bhutan but Government issued Identity Proof like Passport or voter Id card is required. Check into the hotel in Phuentsholling and rest overnight.
Day 2

After preparing permit you will leave from Jaigaon / Phuentsholling to Paro which is nearly 6 – 6 ½ hours travel. Paro town is known for its scenic beauty, wooden villages and historical buildings. It is one of the most beautiful towns of Bhutan.\r\nOn arrival you will check into Hotel and after Lunch go for a visit to Rinpung Dzong which is a fortress monastery believed to be built by Guru Rinponche and then reconstructed by Ngawang Namgyal. It is an architectural wonder. It houses collection of masks and costumes. Then you visit Ta dzong, an ancient watchtower build at a hill above Rinpung Dzong is now a National Museum of Bhutan. Come back to the hotel in the evening and go local shopping.
Day 3

Early morning after breakfast, you will visit Taktsang Monastery, also called the Tiger’s Nest. Guru Rinpoche/Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated here for three years, three months and three days.You come back to hotel for Lunch. After Lunch visit to Rinpung Dzong built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang, the first spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan. Then you visit Ta Dzong National Museum, which holds fascinating collection of art, relics, thangka paintings and postal stamps. Then visit Drukgyel Dzongs, a fortress built to commemorate victory over the invading Tibetan forces-Destroyed by fire 1950. KyichuLhakhang, Druk Choeding, Dungtse Lhakhang. Adventure sports like trekking, hiking and bird watching are also available here. Please note it is not possible to cover all the places mentioned in a single day.In the evening free to visit local markets-Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 4

Early morning after breakfast, transfer from Paro to Jaigaon/ Phuentsholling. The drive is nearly 180 kilometers and 6 – 6 ½ hours.After breakfast transfer to Phuentsholing. On the way take a short stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers with three different style of stupas adorning this confluence. Drive further through Chapcha and later take glimpse of famous Chukha Dam and the magnificent Vince waterfall before Gedu town. Arrive at Phuenthsoling by evening and check into the hotel . Evening free to stroll around the area.
